“When Magic’s health started declining Dr. Stein came to the house and carefully explained treatment methods that could be provided at home. With the utmost compassion and love, Dr. Stein taught me how to give Magic fluids. This helped to extend Magic’s life where he ended up living longer than anticipated and where he was comfortable at home. When it felt like it was time, Dr. Stein and I communicated together in order to make that difficult decision about when to let Magic go the rainbow bridge. It is because of Dr. Stein that I had more time with my best friend, Magic, and that he received the treatment at home where he was comfortable at the end of his life. I will always remember how Dr. Stein helped me give Magic that dignity. Dr. Stein made me feel comfortable with these important decisions to honor my best friend’s life.”
